Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for merchant partnership acquisition and retention that aligns with company’s overall goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new merchant partners to expand the company’s customer base and revenue streams.
- Organise meeting and conduct presentation to potential merchant partners.
- Guide and assist merchants on onboarding process.
- Provide training to new merchant on portal & dashboard for both S-Rewards Centre & S-Coin Redemption Centre.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities and proactively identify new partnership opportunities.
- Merchant Management
- Develop and build relationships with merchants to understand their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with merchants to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify new opportunities.
- Responsible for merchant supports including:
- Sales & Marketing Supports
- Product/SKU Management Supports
- Promotion Supports
- Sales Supports
- Order Fulfilment Supports
- After Sales Supports
- Merchant Payment Settlement
- Backend Technical Supports
- Work closely with internal team, including product management, marketing and technical support team to ensure successful execution of merchant partners initiatives.
- Responsible to monitor merchant business plan & coach merchant on sales improvements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the industry
Financial and Non-Financial Measures
Financial Measures:
- Tracking on merchant’s sales transaction and monthly payment to merchant.
- Tracking on merchant’s cancelation order and refund amount.
- Tracking on S-Coin giveaway/redeemable rate.
Non-Financial Measures:
- Tracking on top merchant ranking.
Communication Requirements
- Internal:
- Coordinate with IT team to solve system integration and problems.
- Coordinate with finance team to do settlement/payment to merchants.
- External:
- Coordinate with appointed service provider for integration.
- Communicate with merchants and keep good relationship with them.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, e-commerce or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in merchant partnerships, business development, e-commerce or related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic partnership initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
