Merchant Partnerships



Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with merchants to promote business growth and profitability. To identify, evaluate, and engage potential merchant, negotiate and execute merchant agreements, and manage ongoing relationships to ensure mutual success.


  1. Merchant Acquisition
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for merchant partnership acquisition and retention that aligns with company’s overall goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new merchant partners to expand the company’s customer base and revenue streams.
  • Organise meeting and conduct presentation to potential merchant partners.
  • Guide and assist merchants on onboarding process.
  • Provide training to new merchant on portal & dashboard for both S-Rewards Centre & S-Coin Redemption Centre.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities and proactively identify new partnership opportunities.


  1. Merchant Management
  • Develop and build relationships with merchants to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with merchants to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify new opportunities.
  • Responsible for merchant supports including:
  • Sales & Marketing Supports
  • Product/SKU Management Supports
  • Promotion Supports
  • Sales Supports
  • Order Fulfilment Supports
  • After Sales Supports
  • Merchant Payment Settlement
  • Backend Technical Supports
  • Work closely with internal team, including product management, marketing and technical support team to ensure successful execution of merchant partners initiatives.
  • Responsible to monitor merchant business plan & coach merchant on sales improvements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the industry

Financial and Non-Financial Measures

Financial Measures:

  • Tracking on merchant’s sales transaction and monthly payment to merchant.
  • Tracking on merchant’s cancelation order and refund amount.
  • Tracking on S-Coin giveaway/redeemable rate.

Non-Financial Measures:

  • Tracking on top merchant ranking.

Communication Requirements

  1. Internal:
  • Coordinate with IT team to solve system integration and problems.
  • Coordinate with finance team to do settlement/payment to merchants.
  1. External:
  • Coordinate with appointed service provider for integration.
  • Communicate with merchants and keep good relationship with them.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, e-commerce or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in merchant partnerships, business development, e-commerce or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
